Checklists are general examples

Seasonal and maintenance checklists cannot account for every building, climate, system, lease, insurer, code, manufacturer instruction or hazard. A missing, completed or checked item does not mean a property is safe, compliant, winterized, ready to occupy or ready to rent. Verify the correct procedure for your property before acting.

No inspection, monitoring or emergency response

OwnersLog does not inspect property, verify work, monitor sensors, detect leaks, fire, freezing, mould, structural issues or other hazards, contact emergency services, dispatch trades, or warn you when conditions change. For an emergency or suspected hazard, leave the area when appropriate and contact qualified local emergency services or professionals.

Calculations are estimates

Rental, renovation, return, cost-base and future-value outputs are simple estimates based on information you enter and assumptions that may be incomplete or wrong. They are not forecasts, appraisals, tax calculations or promises of income, savings, value or return.

Rental and legal compliance

You are responsible for zoning, licensing, registration, lease, condominium, tax, safety, accessibility, insurance, privacy and other requirements that apply to your property and rental activity. OwnersLog does not determine whether renting a property is permitted.

Use your judgment
